An Overview of Mari Simmulson’s India Series
Mari Simmulson (1911–2000) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1950s to 1970s. One of the most well-known series is India from 1967. It consists of six earthenware bowls, dishes, and vases. They have a segmented form, brown glaze, and white geometric relief.
