An Overview of Mari Simmulson’s Pulla Series
Mari Simmulson (1911–2000) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1950s to 1970s. One of the most well-known series is Pulla from 1963. It consists of two earthenware jars and eggcups. They have a rounded form, white glaze, and yellow chicken motif.
