An overview of Stig Lindberg’s Vitrin series
Stig Lindberg designed the ”Vitrin” series in 1956 for the Gustavsberg factory. The series consisted of 11 vases and 3 bowls with classic shapes and harmonic expressions. They were made of stoneware with matte glazes in blue, brown, or white colors. At the introduction, the 14 objects were sold together in a special box. The Vitrin series was crafted for only a short period of time.
