Erik Höglund's wrought iron bull with a sturdy form and rustic expression. It was hand-forged, giving it a unique touch.
Erik designed the bull in the 1960s at Boda Smide. It comes with a certificate of authenticity. Limited edition of 100!
The bull comes from the contemporary small-scale production with traditional methods. Each piece may differ slightly from the sample images.
Erik Höglund started working with the smith Axel Strömgren in the late 1950s. The cooperation led to the start of the Boda Smide in 1962. Over the next 11 years, Erik designed many hundreds metal artworks for the company. They were often made of hand-forged iron with decorative details in clear, blue, or brown glass. The expression was joyous, rustic, and folksy. Boda Smide still has a small-scale and traditional production of Erik's design in the local area.
