Marianne Westman (1928–2017) designed many classics for the Swedish Rörstrand company in the 1950s to 1970s. One of the most well-known series is Lotta from 1966. (Lotta is a common girl name in Sweden.) It consists of stoneware tableware with gently rounded forms and hand-painted blue/green linear decor. The items are stamped on the lower side with Rörstrand, Sweden, MW, and Lotta. The series was manufactured until 1974. Which of Marianne’s Lotta objects is your favorite?
