Lisa Larson duva paloma


Pigeon from the ”Paloma” series, designed in 1955. The series was Lisa's first at Gustavsberg porcelain factory. The pigeon was only made in 1955-56. The height is 11 cm (4.3 in). This bird is an exclusive rarity!

Lisa Larson Fåglar


Birdies from the ”Birds” (Faglar) series, designed in 1964. The series comprises three small birds with slightly different form and with all kinds of decoration. They were first crafted in the Gustavsberg studio in 1965-67, and then manufactured in normal production in 1967-71. The height is 7-8 cm (2.8-3.1 in). Chubby charmers!

Birds from the ”Leghorn” series, designed in 1968. (Leghorn is a common breed of chicken.) The series comprises a large and small hen, a large and small rooster, and a chicken. They were first crafted in the Gustavsberg studio in 1968-72, and since 1972 manufactured in normal production. From 1991, they have been manufactured by Keramikstudion Gustavsberg. The heights are 8-38 cm (3.1-15.0 in). These chickens won’t come home to roost!

Birds from the ”Endangered species” (Utrotningshotade djur) in 1975-81. The series was made at Gustavsberg porcelain factory in a limited edition for the benefit of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). Each year was represented by an animal in need of extra care. The series included a golden eagle (1976, 1500 copies) and a peregrine falcon (1978, 1700 copies). The heights are 17-19 cm (6.7-7.5). Intense raptors with a Lisa Larson-touch!


Lisa Larson noaks ark pingvin


Penguin couple from the ”Noah's arc” (Noaks ark), designed in 1978. The series comprises 10 animal couples inspired by the biblical narrative of Noah. The penguins were manufactured at Gustavsberg porcelain factory in 1979-83. They measure 10 cm (3.9 in) above sea level. Sweet as sugar!

Lisa Larson jie svan havsörn uggla tjäder


Birds from the ”Provincial animals” (Landskapsdjur), designed in 1990 during Lisa Larson's freelance at Jie-Keramik. The series was produced for the benefit of the World Nature Fund (WWF). It was planned to comprise of Sweden's 25 provincial animals. But only 14 of them came into production before the company went bankrupt. Four birdies excel in the series: eagle owl, sea eagle, mute swan, and capercaillie. They measure 13-19 cm (5.1-7.5 in) height. Well-made figurines!

 Birds from the Phoenix (Fenix) series, designed in the early 1990s for Lisa's exhibition at the NK department in Stockholm. They have since been manufactured at Keramikstudion Gustavsberg. The series comprises four birds: Fingal (highest), Gottfrid (roundest), Ossian and Tekla (smallest). They are 13-20 cm (5.1-7.9 in) in height. Sometimes Gottfrid and Ossian are placed on wooden display stands. Charming creatures!

Lisa Larson uggla


Owls designed in the 1980s and onwards. The larger owl was designed in Lisa's Nacka studio in the 1980s. The two smaller were designed in the 2010s. The smallest is part of the Mini-zoo series, which is available in brown or gray color. The three owls are manufactured at Keramikstudion Gustavsberg. Heights are 4-15 cm (1.6-5.9 in). Ho-ho-ho-hoo!

Rooster from the Miniatyrer (Miniatures) series, designed during the 2000s. It has since been manufactured at Keramikstudion Gustavsberg. The bird has a height of 5 cm (2 in). A small ray of sunshine!

Dove, designed during the 1990s. It has since been manufactured at Keramikstudion Gustavsberg. The bird is quite a large figurine with a height of 17 cm (6.7 in). This dove comes with only peaceful intentions!
