Kjell Engman (1946–) has designed many classics for the Swedish Kosta Boda glassworks. One of the most well-known series is Birds of Paradise from 2003. It consists of four wall ornaments with exotic bird motifs. They were crafted by hand with rounded shapes, colorful tones, and sandblasted surfaces. The series was in production until 2004.
