Ingrid Atterberg (1920–2008) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1940s to 1960s. One of the most well-known series is Roma from 1963. It consists of seven earthenware objects: bowls, candleholders, dishes, and vases. They have chocolate brown glazes and incised geometric decoration. The items are deep stamped on the lower side with UE, Sweden, Abg, and the model number. The series was manufactured until 1965. Which of Ingrid’s Roma objects is your favorite?
