An Overview of Arthur Percy's Vinranka Series
Arthur Percy designed Vinranka in 1938 during the golden era of Swedish pottery. The series consists of tableware with classic forms and grapevine decor. It was was made of flintware and was in production until 1969.
Initially the pattern only came in a gently blurred blue, but was later followed by red (1940), black (1948), and green (1948). On the lower side, the pieces are often stamped with Vinranka, Gefle, Sweden, and Percy. Which of Arthur's objects is your favorite?
