Mari Simmulson (1911–2000) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1950s to 1970s. One of the most appreciated series is Roulette from 1965. It consists of four earthenware bowls and jars. They have gently quadratic forms, mottled blue glaze, and relief decors.
