Stig Lindberg (Prunus 2000s) Perfect Plate (22 cm)

Stig Lindberg's perfect plate with a stylistically pure shape and blue plum pattern. It was designed as part of the famous "Prunus" series in 1962. The plate comes from the present production at the Gustavsberg Factory in the Stockholm archipelago. It is skillfully handcrafted according to the area's long-standing pottery tradition. "The best way to grow your taste is to love the beautiful intensely." Each plate is fired in a kiln three times which results in a solid tableware that is both dishwasher and microwave safe. A portion of the proceeds from every object sold goes to finance new exhibitions at the Gustavsberg's Porcelain Museum.
