Stig Lindberg's terrific teacup with saucer, cone shape, and blue triangular pattern. It was first launched in 1960 as part of the Matros (Sailor) tea set.
The series was relaunched by the Gustavsberg factory in 2007, and a coffee cup and two new color schemes were introduced. This new production of Matros ended within a few years.
"The best way to grow your taste is to love the beautiful intensely."
The Matros series is represented in the reference guide "The Large Book about Stig Lindberg" which is shown in the photos.
