Stig Carlsson (1932–2008) was one of the distinguished Swedish ceramists during the 20th century. After his early work years at Rörstrand, IFÖ, and Jie Keramik, he started his own studio in Nyhamnsläge in the 1970s. Stig is most known for his wall plaques with relief textures and geometric motifs.
