Sigrid Richter was born and raised in Germany. She then came to Sweden during the 1950s to paint Stig Lindberg’s faiences at Gustavsberg's Porcelain Factory. Sigrid was later employed by Rörstrand where she designed the tableware Eden in 1960. The series was made of flintware with printed purple-blue apple motif.
Eden was an instant success and was manufactured until 1972. It was re-launched in 2016 with the same decor but different models. Which of Sigrid's Eden objects is your favorite?
