An Overview of Paula von Freymann’s Flykt Series
Paula von Freymann (1939–) designed a few classics for Rörstrand during her short employment at the company. One of the most appreciated series is Flykt (Flight) from around 1959. It consists of about ten bowls and vases. They have gently rounded forms, white flintware clay, and autumn-colored decor of birds and branches.
The lower sides are stamped with Rörstrand, Sweden, and Flykt. Which of Paula’s objects is your favorite?
