Noomi Backhausen (1938–2011) was one of Denmark's leading ceramic designers during the 20th century. She is best known for her time at the Söholm factory during the 1960s-1980s, where she designed wall plaques, lamps, and other works of art in earthy colors. Noomi's artwork is represented at several museums in the Nordic region.
