Moomin Mugs from Arabia – A Complete Overview
(Updated 2020)
Arabia's warmhearted Moomin mugs have many collectors all over the world. This updated overview presents all cups from the beginning in 1990 to the very last newcomers. Each mug is presented with a photo, English and Finnish name, production years, and motif background.
The motifs for the mugs come from Tove Jansson's original Moomin drawings for books and magazines. With a few exceptions, Tove Slotte-Elevant has then revised the drawings, and Kaj Franck has designed the mug model.
