An Overview of Matti Klenell’s Harakka and Korpi Birds
Matti Klenell (1972–) has designed many modern classics for Nordic companies. Some of the most well-known objects are the ten birds for Iittala. They were designed in 2010 with segmented forms, colorful glass, and joyous expression.
The birds come in two collections: Harakka (Magpie) and Korpi (Wilderness). Each consists of five family members. On the lower side, they are marked with M Klennel and Iittala. Which bird is your favorite?
