An Overview of Marianne Westman’s Kaktus Series

Marianne Westman (1928–2017) designed many classics for the Swedish Rörstrand company in the 1950s to 1970s. One of the most well-known series is Kaktus (Cactus) from 1964. It consists of five stoneware sculptures with swelling forms and hand-painted color schemes. Each model could have many different decors.

The items are stamped on the inner side with Rörstrand, Sweden, and MW. Which of Marianne’s cactuses is your favorite?
