An Overview of Mari Simmulson’s Lady Series

Mari Simmulson (1911–2000) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1950s to 1970s. One of the most well-known series is Lady from 1969. It consists of five earthenware bowls and vases. They have a robust form, tricolored linear segments, and rough surface. The items are deep stamped on the lower side with UE, model number, and Mari’s mark (MS or Maris). The series was produced until 1970. Which of Mari’s Lady objects is your favorite?
