Kjell Blomberg (1931–1989) was one of Sweden’s leading ceramic and glass artists in the 20th century. After his art studies at ”Konstfack” in Stockholm, he worked for Upsala–Ekeby, Gabriel Keramik, and Gullaskruf for more than 20 years. Kjell became a prominent designer of streamlined and elegant pieces – sometimes with a good sense of humor. His artistry is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
