An Overview of Isak Isaksson's Glazes
Isak Isaksson's glazes are admired by many connoisseurs of high fired pottery. Over the last 45 years, he has developed more than 12,000 glazes with all kinds of colors, patterns and textures. In this laborious work, he often combines the artist's drive with the chemist's thoroughness.
Many variables affect the final appearance of the glaze. Here are a few examples:

- the type of pottery (stoneware or porcelain)
- the schedule for the oven temperature
- the burning in oxidizing (with oxygen) or reducing environment (without oxygen).
