Isak Isaksson (1949–) is one of Sweden’s leading contemporary ceramic artists. He is part of the Nordic pottery tradition aiming for works of art with the highest perfection. In his Stockholm-based studio, Isak has become a master of throwing and glazing, leading to marvelous unique pieces. His artistry is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design. In 2019, he received the title of Certified Ceramic Master – the highest recognition in Swedish pottery.
