Ingrid Atterberg (1920–2008) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1940s to 1960s. One of the most well-known series is Tri from 1963. It consists of 14 earthenware bowls, candleholders, dishes, and vases. They have a gently quadratic form, incised geometric decoration, and polychrome glaze. The items are deep stamped on the lower side with UE, Sweden, Abg, and the model number. The series was manufactured until 1967. Which of Ingrid’s Tri objects is your favorite?
