An Overview of Helena Tynell’s Piironki (The Bureau) Series

Helena Tynell (1918–2016) has designed many classics for the Finnish Riihimäen Lasi glassworks. One of the most well-known series is Piironki (The Bureau) from 1968. It consists of uni-colored vases with a furniture shape and kindhearted expression. They came in one size and a multitude of colors. The series was in production until 1974.
