An Overview of Helena Tynell’s Pala (Block) Series

Helena Tynell (1918–2016) has designed many classics for the Finnish Riihimäen Lasi glassworks. One of the most well-known series is Pala (Block) from 1964. It consists of uni-colored vases with a segmented shape and modernistic expression. They came in many sizes and a multitude of colors. The series was in production until 1976.
