An Overview of Helena Tynell’s Aitanlukko (The Padlock) Series

Helena Tynell (1918–2016) has designed many classics for the Finnish Riihimäen Lasi glassworks. One of the most well-known series is Aitanlukko (The Padlock) from 1968. It consists of uni-colored vases with with a lock shape and rustic expression. They came in one size and a multitude of colors. The series was in production until 1974.
