An Overview of Helena Tynell’s Ahkeraliisa (Busy Lizzie) Series

Helena Tynell (1918–2016) has designed many classics for the Finnish Riihimäen Lasi glassworks. One of the most well-known series is Ahkeraliisa (Busy Lizzie) from 1968. It consists of uni-colored vases with a girl shape and joyous expression. They came in one size and a multitude of colors. The series was in production until 1969.
