An Overview of Gunnar Nylund’s Zenit Series
Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) designed many classics for the Swedish ceramic factory Rörstrand. One of the most well-known series is Zenit from the 1960s. It consists of eight stoneware bowls, dishes, and vases. They have a robust form, grayish green glaze, and stylized flower motif.
The objects are marked on the lower side with Rörstrand, Sweden, Zenit, and the model number. Which piece in this series is your favorite?
