Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) designed many classics for the Swedish ceramic factory Rörstrand. One of the most well-known series is Plano from the 1930s. It consists of a large number of household goods like flower pots, fruit dishes, and candleholders. But most popular among contemporary collectors are the vases. They are made of stoneware with geometric forms and matte green glaze.
