Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) designed many classics for the Swedish ceramic factory Rörstrand. One of the most well-known series is Oliv (Olive) from 1964. It consists of flintware bowls and vases. They have sculptural forms, geometric relief pattern, and glaze in yellowish green color.
Oliv shares models with the Fortuna (blue glaze) and the Scherzo (white, beige and bluish purple glaze) series. The objects are marked on the lower side with Rörstrand, Sweden, Oliv, and the model number. Which piece in this series is your favorite?
