Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) designed many classics for the Swedish ceramic factory Rörstrand. One of the most well-known series is Krakele from 1932. It consists of stoneware bowls and vases. They have robust forms, white crackled glaze, and golden details.
The objects are marked on the lower side with Nylund and ALP (AB Lidköpings Porslinsfabrik, the factory where they were made). Which Krakele piece is your favorite?
