Göran Wärff's muskox with purple glass and lifelike expression. It was crafted in 1973 as part of the collector series "Endangered Animals". The environmental organization "World Wildlife Fund" (WWF) issued a collection series of endangered animals from 1973 to 1987. This was done in collaboration with the company" Svenskt Glas" and the Swedish glassworks in Kosta, Orrefors, and Reijmyre. Each year, a new glass figurine was launched in an edition of 4000 or 8000 pieces. The unicolored animals were designed by Göran Wärff, Kjell Engman, Olle Alberius, and Paul Hoff.
