Gertrud Lönegren (1905–1970) was one of Sweden’s leading ceramic artists in the 20th century. After her art studies at ”Konstfack” in Stockholm, she worked for the St. Erik and Rörstrand factories for 10 years. Gertrud became a prominent artist of high-quality stoneware, often with earthy colors and distinct relief patterns. Her artistry is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
