An Overview of Gabi Citron-Tengborg’s Löva Series
Gabi Citron-Tengborg (1930–2009) designed a few classics during her short tenure at the Gustavsberg company. One of the most appreciated series is Löva from 1955. It was presented at the legendary H55 exhibition in Helsingborg.
The Löva series consists of five dishes and four bowls. They are made of stoneware with leaf forms and blue, brown, green, or white glazes. The lower sides are often marked with ”Gustavsberg, Sweden, Löva, Gabi”. Which of her art pieces is your favorite?
