An Overview of Britt-Louise Sundell’s Ringo Series
Britt-Louise Sundell (1928–2011) designed many classics for the Swedish Gustavsberg company. One of the most well-known series is Ringo from the 1960s. It consists of five animal figurines with swelling forms and modernistic expression. They were made of chamotte stoneware with hand-painted geometric decor.
