An Overview of Bertil Vallien’s Thoughts Series

Bertil Vallien has designed many classics for the Swedish glassworks in Åfors, Boda, and Kosta. One of the most well-known series is Thoughts from 2007. It consists of six glass sculptures with a head form, clear glass, and mythological expressions. Each head contains a sign with a short word. 

On the the lower side, the sculptures are marked with Kosta Boda, B. Vallien, and the model number. The Thoughts series was manufactured until 2011. Which of Bertil’s heads is your favorite?
