An Overview of Bertil Vallien's Owls for Boda

Bertil Vallien (1938–) has designed many classics for the Swedish glassworks in Åfors, Boda, and Kosta. One of the most well-known series is "Boda Owls" from 1976. It consists of two figurines of different sizes. The rounded birds were hand-blown and then rolled in polychrome glass powder. On the surface, they were marked with a Boda or Kosta label.
